Nest In-Door Camera Overheating and Shutting Itself Down

Saylswim

We have had our set of Nest in-door and outdoor cameras for over 5 years and have been generally satisfied with them.  However, 2 of the 5 in-door cameras have overheating problems, with one replaced and the other just recently getting hot and shutting down.  While on the one hand, the auto shut-down is a good thing, if that for some reason would fail, then the camera gets hot enough it could start a home fire.  I am sure we are not the only owners of the Nest/Google in-door cameras that have had this problem.  Since we are out of the warrantee period, we either buy a new one or leave this part of our house uncovered from a camera standpoint.  Very disappointed that Nest and Google would market a product that has a real potential to cause a house fire.  Thank you.
