Nest and google home linking

I have installed the door bell it shows up on my google home account but not my google nest account. On nest it shows the new home location and that there is a door bell but it gives no picture or video and does not let me do anything with it.

Google Nest decided that the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website. However, you can livestream both old and new cameos and doorbells on the "preview"/beta home.google.com website.

strange, I have a nest camera at another location and I can view it on my nest app.

If you can view your Google Nest camera in the Google Nest app, then it's one of the older cameras (the Google Nest Outdoor Camera, the Google Nest IQ Camera, the Google Nest Indoor Camera [1st gen], the Google Nest Hello Doorbell, or even the old DropCam). The new Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in 2021 (the Google Nest Camera [Battery], the Google Nest Doorbell [Battery], the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell, the Google Nest Floodlight Camera, and the Google Nest Indoor Camera [2nd gen]) work only in the Google Home app.

We have a Google Nest Camera (Battery) and a Google Nest Indoor Camera (2nd gen); they work only in the Google Home app. All of our other Google Nest cameras and doorbells work in the Google Nest app.

The way in which Google Nest names each of these cameras and doorbells is not always consistent.
