Nest doorbell broken lens

Ben_B

Hi, I have a Nest doorbell battery purchased directly from Google in November 2023.  My doorbell dislodged from the mount and fell to the ground, breaking the lens.  I can see that this appears to be a known issue as several posts report the same problem. Is it possible to request a replacement under warranty? Thank you.

The mounting mechanism does seem to be a problem, especially since the doorbell needs to get dismounted frequently in order to charge the doorbell. I'm glad we don't have one.

You could try contacting Support, using the link and instructions in this post:

I contacted the Google Nest Customer Care Team who arranged a replacement to be sent on 28th Jan. Although I am still waiting to receive it. Thank you.

Hey Ben_B,

That sounds good. Have you tried checking your email for the progress of your replacement? I believe you'll be receiving a link where you can track your replacement unit along with your email cart link. Try checking your spam, junk or trash folders.

Thanks,

Emerson
