I've had the nest doorbell (wired) for a year and a half now and recently it is starting to act up. Whenever someone rings the doorbell the camera goes offline, temporarily.
It comes back online shortly after, but it definitely is off long enough that you would never be able to talk to the other person.
I saw one more thread on this, but it doesn't sound like anyone has had any luck with this.

I have been having this same issue this winter. Today it warmed up outside and it's working perfectly again...It worked fine last winter, so I don't know why...

Hi Brad,
Yes, I am still having this issue and have been using the workaround of switching the chime off. My Nest Hello will still go offline and reset when the button is pressed.

We tried it today and it is working correctly. Today is the 1st day it's been warmer. We never had issues last winter, so I don't understand why now? I will let you know if it stops working again. I have everything Google, but this problem is making me 2nd guess why I paid more money for the Nest doorbell.

Hey folks.
I am afraid I am still waiting on a fix myself, so I have yet to receive next steps on this issue. I am terribly sorry to hear that you are still having this issue though. Try to continue with the workarounds and do your best to troubleshoot on your end. I hope to have a response soon for y'all, but I am waiting with you at least.
Best regards,
Brad.
