Hello I install a Nest camera battery, the 5 GHz local network is not usable, only the 2.4 GHz network works. Is this normal?

Nest Cam (battery) has different connectivity specs depending on country/region.

Europe, Canada, Australia: 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz)
US, Mexico, India, Japan: 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz)

@alvert59

We have one network name (SSID) for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and our Google Nest cameras and doorbells connect automatically to whichever signal is stronger. Our plugged-in battery camera happens to be on 5 GHz.

I had to create a 2.4 GHz network specifically for my cameras.  Since I created this 2.4 GHz network, I’ve had no issues with the cameras connecting or staying connected.
