need to speak to a Live agent

I need to speak to a live agent. my nest Dropcam will be no longer supported but I would like a replacement as an outdoor cam rather than indoor? please

Best odds (and likely only option) are to just take the free Nest Indoor camera, sell it, and buy an Outdoor one yourself.

Good luck Cindy they have gone from nest original company to google and have destroyed the customer service, I've been waiting 1 month so far for a replacement flood camera and we sent back the failed one month ago and now no PHONE SUPPORT, ITS JUST WRONG GOOGLE..... Cindy I would look for a different product company that has true honest support not this BS

Google Nest's only option for contacting Support (except in Australia, where by law they have to have a phone number) is to start with the link below. On the "Resources" page, do NOT click on any of the reference links; instead, click "Next step" to get to the page where you select contact options (phone or chat).

However, Support may not be ready to answer your question about today's Dropcam announcement; they say "We will contact eligible Nest Dropcam users with instructions on how to redeem this offer."

Thank you - there is no "next step" option I select answers and it comes bak to the forum....

Hi I cant get in touch with anyone about this drop cam discontinuing situation or how to get the replacement.  Also, is the replacement free?  Is there a phone number I can call?  thx

Google Nest, unfortunately, does not publish a support phone number. You have to go to the Support link above, where you will get options for a phone callback or chat (see my earlier post above).

Hopefully someone can help me.  I too have been trying to get ahold of Nest.  I used to be able but now that has all changed.  I have a new nest thermostats 3rd generation and I do not have wi fi hooked up yet.  Can the thermostat be set manually without using wifi?  I tried with no luck.  Maybe there is a trick to this.  Thank you

I have 4 dropcams / nest whatever you want to call it, I tried to select 2 free cameras, it would not allow it . Been trying for almost 2 weeks to contact someone , no phone number and chat never works, worst service ever. Unbelievable. My company is building a new google facility in AZ and I will sure try and speak to someone to tell them what crappy customer service they have hopefully. 

The replacement camera for the Drop Cam is free?  How do I get it?  Ive tried everything following the steps and it just loops me back to the beginning

I also need to order 2 next protection can we have someone come in and connect these please my carbon monoxide  smoke alarms not working.

Yes, see the email I got. Trying to buy a camera as instructed does not apply a credit at checkout...

I was able to click-1 and I received it, however it states you can get up to 2 free cameras, these guys are a joke. Gotta reply from Diego, it said … nothing, plenty of ways to contact us but it was the same crap. Must be overseas as usual. 

Hi, are you saying the replacement Drop Cams are free?  I thought they were supposed to be 50% off, or is that just for the subscription?

The email I received from google states that you will receive a free google cam if you have dropcams. It further states that if you have more than 1 dropcam you will receive max of 2 google cams, it only gave me the option to add 1 to the cart , I have 4 dropcams/nest cams. I’m trying to figure out how to get the 2nd free google cam, this is the worst customer service EVER!! I would rather talk to the IRS.

Same thing happened to me!!  I have 3 nest cams and only got 1 free one at checkout.  How dare they have such crappy customer service after I've been a customer for almost 10 years paying monthly fees for this subscription.  Google, you've lost me as a customer!

My husband has an account with Google Nest for our cameras and he has since passed away.  I had Best Buy Geek Squad come to the house, reset the cameras but I need to know how to work the billing?   Could someone please call me at 509-263-9033.  Thank You, Shirley Prisco
