Apps shut down when starting a movie

I select an app, let's say CBS News. I select the show 60 minutes to watch. The second I click select/play the app closes and goes back to Google TV home screen. It does this on Disney app, Apple TV app, and others. It does not do this on Netflix, Prime, or a few other apps. I tried uninstall and install new, but it's still happening. Help??

Try to reboot the Chromecast device - unplug it from the main power grid for about 5 minutes then plug it back in.
