Hello, I have a brand new Google Chromecast with Google TV (HD) (model G454V) which I was able to set up successfully in the beginning. However, upon first casting video to the device, a few seconds in the Chromecast rebooted. Now the Chromecast will reboot before I can even cast something, rebooting at an interval of about 15 seconds or so, no matter what I'm doing.
I have tried hard resetting it, I've tried a different USB cable, a different power supply, a different power outlet; nothing works. The device just keeps rebooting over and over.
How can I resolve this?
Edit: Just to be clear, I started by using the original Chromecast power supply and USB cable plugged into a home power outlet, and the HDMI cable plugged into my AV receiver. I've also tried different HDMI ports to see if that made a difference. No matter what I do, no matter what configuration I use, the device constantly reboots and nothing I do changes this.

Hi sulisminerva,
Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. It seems that you’ve already tried all the possible steps. Can we try one last approach just so we can isolate it? Kindly bypass the AV receiver and connect it directly to the HDMI port of the TV. Try it on another TV if possible, and observe if it persists. Let us know how it goes.

Hi, yes, it took me time to run through this step as my television is mounted in a niche in the wall, but as expected this changed nothing, the Chromecast is still rebooting at a regular interval (around 15 seconds or so).
