CC w/ Google TV remote volume issue

I'm able to set up my remote to control my NAD amp via IR, but when I'm actually connected to the amp via Bluetooth the volume control only adjusts the "Bluetooth volume" which does nothing, even when I set the volume in the settings to the amp (IR), not auto. Is this function not working properly? I can't connect to the amp via a wired connection.

Hi TomvanHalen,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. NAD has different products like TVs, soundbars, and receivers, which are the three options available for infrared (IR) connections in button controls (power, volume, and input). You mentioned that this is a NAD amplifier; which option (TV, soundbar, receiver) did you add it to? Did you also manually pair the device via Bluetooth and register it as one of the paired accessories along with the remote? What is the model of this NAD amplifier? What steps have you taken?

It helps when you try a sequential reboot on the involved devices. You can forget or unpair the device and reconnect it. Try these and let us know.

We look forward to your responses.

Thanks,

Kimy
