Chromecast 1st

Hi all! It's finally my turn, I'm stumped and a bit upset, hours I have been trying to get this to set up. Everything was working fine then Chromecast out of the blue stays solid white, will not connect to home app, won't cast, I have done it all, reboot, check permissions, unplug modem/router reboot android phone uninstall reinstall. It just plane old stopped for no known reason. Anyone else in my position? I could sure use some serious help. I just paid for Google TV and everything stops working. Guess I'll be cancelling again.

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Chromecast 1st Gen. Please perform a factory reset on your device, then set it up using the Google Home app.
