Chromecast TV asking for pin and not allowing me to view device in Home

Hello!

I recently changed my WiFi information and reconnected my devices. My CC Tv keeps asking me for a pin every time I open the Home app, but I cannot locate a pin anywhere in the CC TV settings. I’ve tried turning on the view for ambient mode and even when I toggle the option to view WiFi info etc it doesn’t appear. I wasn’t seeing any guest mode within the Home app for the device either.

Unfortunately now after resetting to factory settings it’s telling me in home that the device is disconnected, even though I can actively cast to it (it will even show casting in the Home app).

1) how can I find this pin so I can stop getting the pop up?

2) how can I correct my home app so that I can access the TV devices settings appropriately?

thanks!

The problems may have fixed themselves after the restore to factory settings. I let it sit for awhile and I’m not able to connect to device settings in home and have not seen the pin request pop up so far!
