I am considering buying a chromecast device to cast photo and video from the Google Photos app on my phone to a TV that is not equipped with chromecast. I have read that image quality is limited and poor when using the Google Photos app. I have strong wifi and a Galaxy S21.
Has this been resolved? Is there a work-around? Does casting from a PC's browser work better?

Hi Justinadams02,
Thanks for posting and sorry for the late response. The image quality of the photos when casting from Google Photos app should be the same as the quality of your camera when viewing it on your TV and depends on how strong and stable your WiFi connection is. Also, you may check this support website article to learn more about viewing Google Photos using a speaker, display or Chromecast.
Thanks,
Jennifer

The chromecast should arrive in a day or two. If I have any problems I will let you know. Just trying to manage my expectations before purchasing
