I'm on my samsung 24 ultra. I have the newest spectrum 6 wifi router. I can't get my Chromecast to connect to my wifi. The error is "can't communicate with chromecast" while trying to connect to wifi.
I have restarted the router, my phone, the chromecast. Nothings seems to work. Is it wifi 6 incompatible? I can't figure out how to to turn off wifi 6 on my phone or the spectrum router?
Any thoughts?

I have an iPhone and the 2nd Gen Chromecast, but also have Spectrum Wifi and I have the same issue.
It tells me that my chromecast may be set up, but it is unable to communicate with my device. It asks me to allow local network access in my privacy settings, but that is already on.
I've also reset the chromecast, my device, the wifi modem and router, and deleted and reinstalled the google home app and got nowhere.
Thinking maybe I just need to buy a new chromecast??
Or could it be Spectrum Wifi?
