Couldn,t sign in

Trying to set up Chromecast with Google TV HD.   I can not sign in with my Google account.  I select my account, the app asks me to verify it's me (fingerprint), after verification app tries to sign in to Chromecast but fails with "Couldn't sign in" message.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We’re sorry for the trouble, and this is not the experience that we wanted you to have. Instead of completing the setup via the Google Home App, try to continue the setup using the remote and login to your account directly on the device. It may be a little challenging with the use of the remote, but since it’s done directly on the device, it can bypass any possibility of miscommunication between devices. Let us know how it goes.
