Google home mini cat attack

On October 8th my sisters cat knocked down my Google home mini that was on a stand 3ft off the ground. I looked into it and it wasn’t responding I tried resetting it didn’t work. It is unresponsive and plugged in has been since October 10th. It is not talking and I didn’t have it on my Google home app so I can’t reboot from there.

Hi there,

The only other thing you can try is to do a physical factory reset.  Not sure if you tried that yet but here are the steps for that 1st gen Mini:

On the bottom of Home Mini, press and hold the factory reset button located below the power cord. Look for a circle etched into the base. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.
