I can not install Disney Plus in my new Chromecast with Google TV

abhishek_kaisar

Recently I have bought Brand new LG 65" OLED TV and a Chromecast with Google TV. When I was downloading apps I found that I can not install Disney Plus from Google Play Store. It shows: "Your device is not Compatible with this version" of Disney Plus.

I have an active subscription of Disney Plus. And I don't think my brand new tv and my Chromecast with Google TV is incompatible with Disney Plus App. Please give me a fix.

Here is some of my information:

Location: San Mateo, California.

Hey @abhishek_kaisar try this, go to the CCwGTV's settings/system -- scroll down to developer options, and on the right side turn on "developer options." Return to the home screen and in the upper right, you'll see a little paw next to your profile pic. Click the paw and choose "Launch Play Store."

Once that opens Disney+ should be there as a "featured" app, click it and choose install and you should be good to go.

If you JUST plugged it in and started using it, it could also be that your Chromecast has not finished processing all of the system updates that have been released since it was made and put into the box.

If Gotham's trick doesn't work, give it a day or so and then try again.

Until then, you can still install the app on a compatible phone or tablet and cast to the Chromecast device.
