I have a very old chromecast , it does not have a reset button on it, I have a new wi fi network

I have a very old chromecast I am assuming it's 1st Gen. I recently changed wi fi routers, I do not have access to the old one. read all the usual stuff, there is no reset button on the chromecast I have looked al over it

The first gen Chromecast should have a button to reset.

Hi thanks for your reply, just watched the video and my chromecast is not like that it is the round disk type about 2" or 50mm in diameter it has no button anywhere just the small light on the outer edge. it was bought perhaps upto 10 years ago

hI, re set button isn't doing anything, I put it down to age and dust! I've ordered another from Amazon, thanks for your help and advice
