My chromecast doesn't connect to my new router

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience on this! Were you able to get your Chromecast connected? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know networking issues can be tricky. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • Were you able to connect in the past?
  • Are you connected to a 2.4GHz network or a 5GHz network?
  • What color is the LED light on the Chromecast?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
