Hi, have you tried to factory reset the Chromecast and reconfigure the device with the Google Home app?

Follow these instructions to perform a factory reset: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/6254654?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid#zippy=

Hi @gm2 you should be able to open the settings on the CCwGTV and choose network. Under network & internet, you should see a list of your networks on the right. Choose your new network on the right side of the screen and enter the password and you should be all set. This will avoid the unnecessary step of factory resetting which can be tedious.
