Hello!
I've recently gotten myself a Chromecast but I have issues setting up the remote to control my TV's volume and power button.
My TV is from XORO, to be specific the XORO htl 3246. It's a bit on the older side specs wise so it also doesn't support HDMI CEC.
I've been trying to look out for brand that use same IR Codes as XORO with no luck. Only Toshiba was able to change my TV's brightness haha.
Although I have found the table list of IR Codes XORO uses: 0508, 1069, 1196, 1217, 1269, 1324, 1507, 1741, 1789,1873, 1906, 1913, 2245, 3067, 3194, 3417, 4155, 4291.
After that I had tried brands like, Phillips, LG, Sony, Samsung etc.. which should have similar codes but non of them worked.
Does anyone else have the same issue or even a XORO TV and could help me out ?
Best Regards
ResKyuu

Hi Reskyuu,
Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. There are hundreds and thousands of TV models from different manufacturers around the world. Even if not listed, some of these follow a particular standard. What you can try is trial and error to determine which brand or model may work. We are not declining the possibility of incompatibility, but you can also search online for forums about users of these TVs who found workarounds for getting them to work. Even if it’s not compatible, it would just be related to the controls of the remote over the TV (power, volume, and input buttons). I found this XORO page, but it’s in German. Check if you can find something helpful. You can also contact them directly, as they probably have more information to share. Let us know if you have other questions.
Thanks,
Kimy
