Voice assistant on Chromecast.

I have both configured the Google home app and chormecast, but there is an issue with the voice assistant, it only search on YouTube, I enter the configuration and the apps to search are blanks, no apps showing.

Hi Jeysonpch23,

 

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. You can link the services like Netflix, Spotify, etc. via the Google Home App. Just ensure that you have the apps installed on that phone. Similarly, the app should be installed on your Chromecast with Google TV. Ensure that you’re using the same account. Not all apps can be added, though.

 

If all those were achieved yet they're still not available as choices, try to reinstall the apps. You can also do a full clean-up by performing a factory reset on your Chromecast with Google TV, unlinking the apps in the Google Home App, and then linking it back before you set up the Chromecast with Google TV from scratch.
