I am using a TV brand called - Cloudwalker (CLOUD TV 43SU) . What I observed is that when I connect Google Chromecast with remote, the volume button does not work in most apps like Youtube / Netflix / Amazon prime video. We have to use the TV's remote for volume purpose.
In some apps like Disney+ Hotstar, the volume button seem to be working, however, the main control is only on the TV's remote.

Hey there ishakrishna,
I'm sorry to hear that the Chromecast Voice Remote isn't changing the volume of your Cloudwalker TV! I know it can be frustrating when it is difficult to change the volume, so I'd be happy to help. In this situation, go ahead and change the Google Voice Remote to use IR instead of HDMI-CEC, that works in most cases in my experience.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran
