Is it normal that when I cast to my Chromecast with Google TV that it will always turn my TV on and go to the Chromecast input input showing the main Google TV menu, then I have to disconnect and cast again for it to the 'classic' ready to cast screen, my old Chromecast I would never have to do it twice, I'm guessing because it didn't have Google TV built into it, is this done in purpose so that you don't skip past the Google TV content?
With my old Chromecast, my TV would be in standby, I would hit cast on my phone, my TV would turn and show the 'Ready to Cast' screen.

Hi PacketofCrisps,
Thanks for reaching out. This is working as intended. The Chromecast with Google TV has a different interface compared to the old Chromecast models. We're always looking for ways to improve our products and we'll take this as feedback. You can also send feedback about this via Google TV. Here's how.
Let me know if you still have questions and concerns otherwise, I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Regards,
Jennifer
