YouTube videos start paused when

Hi there!

I have a TCL series 6 TV connected via eARC to a Pioneer VSX-LS305 receiver, which has a chromecast with Google TV connected to it. When I cast a YouTube video to the chromecast through any device (Pixel 6a YouTube App, Chrome Browser on YouTube.com on MAC OS 13 and Windows 10) and with the TV off, the YouTube video will always start paused. Once the TV and receiver is on, I can cast other videos and the play. Is there a way to make the YouTube videos are keep playing?

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Just to double-check, are you asking if you can play cast videos from YouTube onto a TV that is powered off? If so, I'm sorry to say, but there isn't a way to do so.  If this is functionality you'd like to see in the future, I'd highly encourage you to submit feedback to Google via the Google Home app. Google takes all feedback seriously, and the more feedback that Google receives regarding a specific feature, the more likely they are to prioritize it.

Hey Jeran, thanks for the response. I think I may have been vague with the use case, so let me try to describe it a slightly different way. The signal chain looks like this:

Casting Device <-WIFI-> Chromecast 4k, CEC enabled <-HDMI-> Receiver with CEC enabled <-HDMI-> TV  that is off.

With this setup today, the receiver is able to turn on the tv and YouTube loads on the chromecast. The problem is that the video gets paused at some point while my system turns on. I want it to continue playing or not get paused. This is something that used to work, but hasn't for some time.
