Cannot connect Chromecast to TV

How can I connect Chromecast to TV in Bogotá, Colombia?

Officially, Chromecast has never been sold or supported in Colombia, so your mileage may vary. With that said, you can try following these steps:

I never had a problem when I was in the USA.  However, no matter what I do, it does not work here in Bogotá, Colombia.  It is on; I have rebooted it several times, but all it does is to show on the TV screen asking me to reboot.  If you want me to, I will try sending you a picture

Thanks for getting back to us. Since the Chromecast device isn't officially supported in Colombia, its features and functionalities might not work. However, you can send us a picture of the issue and let's try to sort this out. 

 

Please reboot your router and use a different mobile phone. Connecting to the Chromecast SSID and updating the Google Home app might also help. Here's how you can connect to the Chromecast SSID: Go to the phone Settings > Open Wi-Fi and connect to the Chromecast SSID (Example: Chromecast1234, Living Room TV, Bedroom TV, etc.) > Go to the Google Home app and try to set up again.

 

If the issue persists, please do a reset on your Chromecast.
