Speaker replies to English in Spanish

This is a weird one, but over the last few months I've noticed sometimes my speaker is replying to commands, said in English, in Spanish to my husband. He is Latino and has a slight accent but his command is completely said in English. He does not have any specific profile setup under his name to indicate otherwise. Even something as simple as "hey Google, play Shakira" results in a Spanish response. It's not a huge issue but just a very odd one and wasn't sure if I was alone.

Thanks for reaching out — let’s see what’s going on. A few questions: What Nest device are we working with? When did it begin? What language is showing? How many languages are added to your Assistant settings? Also, what steps have you taken to fix it?

Reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Nest speaker. Checking the language settings to make sure that you only have the English language added might help. Check out this link for more information.
