wiring for heat or cooling mode indication from Nest Learning Thermostat

I have gas forced air with AC  HVAC system. It has a zone control system. PerfectTemp 6202. This requires a heating or cooling  status signal in addition to the traditional heat, cool, fan signals. I have a Nest Learning thermostat.

Is there a  heating or cooling mode on the Nest Learning Thermostat which would provide 24 VAC to zone control system?

Hello ldraus179,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry.

The Nest Thermostats have the same standard labels as other thermostats that have cooling and heating terminals. But it always depends on the wiring configuration as to how it should be labeled. Could you provide us with your thermostat's wiring setup so we can verify it?

Regards,
Mark
