2022 US Compliance - UL 217v8

Does anyone know if the current Gen 2 model is compliant with UL 217v8, the new US code for smoke detectors? A Wirecutter review from January mentioned that Nest will be making an update this year to ensure compliance with this new code.

2nd gen. Nest hardwire smoke/carbon detector

Checking sound

Hallo nest protect checking up sound is verte loud. In standard smoke detectors usually there is an option to add resistances. What to do with nest protect to make sound of checking less loud?

Replacement Back Plate
