our nest app quit working and we constantly get ...there was a problem connecting to the Nest service, try again in a few minutes...it's almost been 24 hours??? the support says it's an app issue and several people are involved in the same problem??? but our friends and neighbors, co-workers that have the nest app etc do no have a problem?? ours worked fine until yesterday when we could not connect a new protect smoke detector and the support person had us do a number of things and then had us delete the original one off the app and after that we could no longer access the app and get alerts from our camera's etc....???? has anyone else experienced this?? we have deleted the app off phones/tablets and re-install and it doesn't work, rebooted internet etc... anyone with suggestions will be greatly appreciated...thank you

There have been a number of posts in this forum in the last day or so reporting that people cannot log onto the Google Nest app or are getting a message saying the Nest service is not available. It is not happening to everyone, and for some customers it happens on one phone and not another, or on one Google account and not another.
So far, Google Nest has not acknowledged there is a problem.

Thank you for letting me know this....I really appreciate it..I also called support and were told they are working on the problem and there were other people with same issue...But everyone I know personally it's not affecting theirs....
