AC not working, blows hot air

Hmartz
Community Member

I have 2 units and my first floor is working fine but my top floor I had the AC on and continued to drop the temp as it was getting warmer in the room.  It was too hot so I went and slept on the first floor and in the AM I went upstairs and it was 81 degrees.  It was still running the "AC" which was set to 69 degrees and in room was 81 and hot air felt blowing into the room.

Hmartz, are you saying that your nest thermostat is causing this problem? Or are you experiencing a failure in your HVAC system and just telling us about it?
