I have exactly the same problem. Super frustrating as I had to reinstall the old thermostat which cools when it’s supposed to.

Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd like to know more about it. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Do you see any messages or codes on your thermostats or in the app? Could you please share with us the photo of the wires connected to your thermostats?

Also, try to change the mode from cooling to heating, and check the type of the air that will come out to your vents.

Best,

Jenelyn

Hi,

It turns out that I have a two zone heating system (one is emergency heat) the other is standard. Anyway, that required to have two wires installed into one port. I think the instructions mentioned or maybe asked the question but I was not familiar. It works now.
Thank you,

Mike P
