Hey all - as the title says, on the second floor the A/C is working as expected (top picture) but on the first floor of my house the A/C is blowing hot air (bottom picture). I’m hoping it’s just a wiring issue, does anyone have any ideas? I’m not at home at the moment but the Rc wire might be unplugged or maybe I should unplug Rc entirely?

Thanks in advance!

The fix ended up being changing the heating type to electric even though it runs off of oil, something about how the system is setup. This made it so the heat and A/C didn’t turn on at the same time when calling for A/C.

Post a picture of the original thermostat's wiring here.

Not sure what you mean by “original”, I posted pictures of both thermostat’s wiring.

By "original" I mean the thermostats that were installed before the Nest.

You can't go by the wire colors as there is no standard and some are wired any which old way.
