December thermostat report

Reading the Nest report, it says one reason for increased energy use, is because December was longer than November. It goes on to say that the difference in the two months accounted for an additional +39 hours. December is only a day longer than November. I always thought days were 24 hours long. I guess Nest learned me sumthin' new.

Hi Nestuser831,

Thanks for posting. It seems there may be some confusion or inaccuracies in the information provided by the Nest report regarding the length of December compared to November. A day consists of 24 hours, and the difference between November and December is typically just one day. The statement suggesting that December was longer by +39 hours is incorrect and may be a result of a reporting error or a misinterpretation of the data. It's important to critically evaluate the information presented in reports and consider whether it aligns with factual knowledge. To troubleshoot, follow the steps here in the troubleshoot your Home report guide.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

Zoe
