So I got this email from GOOGLE  "

 

[Urgent] Your Nest Thermostat Family Room Thermostat isn’t getting consistent power

 

I see a similar post that this is an issue with google not being able to differentiate between 2 NEST's in the same >>> House or account... 

I checked the stats on both of my units.. both new, both with separate GOOGLE C wire adapters in place... and they match and are within normal ranges ... like within a few percent.. on volts and XXXm ohms ? what ever that is..

Yikes! Please share us a screenshot of the email you received from us regarding the power issue notice with your thermostat so I can take a closer look.

Thanks for the reply... so I have 2 NEW Nest  thermos, and 2 new Google C wire adapters and here is my readings...my Lin appears to be 10X normal... which may be why my prior Google C wire adapter burned up, see the melted plastic  .. and burned up the 24ac transformer in my TYCO controller.. so.. I am out 200$ for a new controller, $200 for a service call, 2 Nests and 2 Cwire adapters... and like the clock work fails reported on amazon it takes about 2 weeks for all the fails to occur... then I get a message that ¨MY¨ nest is not getting enough power.,excuse me .WHICH ONE...and it does not ??? know or care??? WHICH one of my nests it is.. but no matter they still are the same.. about 3.1-3.2V...they were never at the Amazon mentioned 3.7v in several reports... I can show pix,,  ? any way to attach the pix..here or only on the AMAZON REVIEW ? 

and of course I am >1500miles away for a month so no warranty, no way of getting any more info other than the on line info that indicates the same as day 1 on both.. BATTERY STATE:OK  POWER CONNECTOR:CONNECTED.. Version 1.4   Software Revision 1.3-10  

 

 

 

Ok... having a opportunity to read EVERY one and 2 star review on AMAZON... 

GOOGLE-NEST-AMAZON  and ME !!!!  have a problem...

? Has anyone read the reviews of the C wire adapters that are listed on Amazon?

there is a problem here, and there... bogus error/not charging messages, incompatibility... at some point the NEST will not fare well with the competition...and I will work with AMAZON to resolve my issues for sure.
