I have been promised a Nest Thermostat replacement since January and Google STILL will not send

I have a google nest thermostat purchased less than a year ago. It all of a sudden just stopped connecting to our satrlink Wi-Fi. It is the ONLY item in the entire house not working.
When contacting google support I was tossed between 4 people before getting passed to a ‘Sr Specialist’ (Jackson) who has been horrible to work with and unable to help (and I mean absolutely horrible). After going through every trouble shooting step in their book 4 times and wasting over 4 hours of my time I have been told my less than a year old unit is ‘out of warranty’. He refused to even file a claim or get me a manager when requested one 7 different times. I refuse to work any further with the idiot Jackson and he NEEDS to be fired for his incompetence.

R'Andrew reached out to me and requested my Nest Thermostats serial number and my mailing address 4 months after Jackson did nothing on 5/8/2023 and now will not reply. I have resent 7 emails to R'Andrew asking about the status and when the replacement would be mailed and no one will reach back out OR complete the replacement.

Why could R'Andrew help offer the replacement but Jackson refused to do anything except tell me to conatct google via the chat feature which starts the entire process all over...?

Can someone at Google have R'Andrew reach out to me to complete the replacement and send the **bleep** thermostst? This has now gone on for 5 months and it is absolutely frustrating and ridicules how Google cannot do their job and how incompetent their employees are!

Can anyone at google do their job and help get this faulty item replaced? Case ID: 8-5705000033995

Hello SamanthaS,

I'm sorry you have to experience this, and we hope you can have a better time. I see an ongoing discussion over the email, and you should receive an update with the next process from our higher tier of support about the replacement options. Please continue the conversation there, as this thread will be locked after 24 hours.

Regards,
Mark
