Nest E Thermostat

I am trying to set up my Nest E Thermostat. I have rebooted it as it would not connect and all I get is what looks like a mobile phone with a down under underscored and a house.  The thermostat is totally unresponsive even if it is rebootted, the same thing just keeps coming up? Any ideas please?

Is this a first-time installation and set-up? Do you see any blinking light on your Nest Thermostat? Try charging it using a micro USB cable for at least an hour. Then, press and hold your thermostat's screen for 10 seconds until it shuts down to reboot. Also, does it have a C-wire connected?

Hey David, you ok?

I am having a similar problem. I get a small dot flashing and when the device is on, the phone icon with a download and next logo appears, but it wont add to my app. Really struggling to get it to connect. It one point it did it but it's not done it for a while.

I've taken the front off and am currently charging the device. Do you think i need to install the heat link first?

Any suggestions would be great fella

Good thanks for asking, hope you're well!

In general, the Nest app walks you through the setup. There's a great video overview here:
