Hi there,
Need some help. I had an old Nest thermostat that died and I got a warranty replacement from Google a year or two ago, but ever since then I'm getting inaccurate data in my monthly Nest Home Report. Ever since I installed the new one I'm getting the "Unfortunately, your Nest Thermostat didn't report all your energy use for two months in a row so we've estimated your usage based on the available data." message in every email and it's estimating my usage rather than sending me my true data. The email says it's "missing info" from my old device with the same name, but that is long gone. The old device is no where to be found in my Nest App or google account so it seems the issue is very specifically with the Nest Home Report. I need tech help to remove this old device from wherever it is stuck deep in my account.

I honestly don't know why that is happening. I will get one of our Nest Community Specialists to take a look at your issue. Hoping they will have some insight on this.

@RussaG, I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with the monthly report of your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this. What troubleshooting steps have you done so far? Also, have you tried clearing the cache and data of the Nest app?

Hey there,
So I followed all the help docs and read all the articles I could find on here and around the web. Admittedly most of it led to no actual action because they are all for normal situations, which mine is clearly not. I only show one Nest in my accounts, so all the articles focused on deleting it aren't applicable. I have cleared the cache and had multiple new phones since August of 2021 when this all started, so whatever is lingering in my account is not user facing in any way I have been able to find, which is why I'm looking for technical support. Unlikely I'm the only Nest user this has ever happened for, so trying to dig out a solution here.
