@AlexD ....... Can you please stop closing my threads?
You advised me in Re: Nest thermostat has stopped heating our water - Google Nest Community that I needed to speak with a heating engineer to try and get this resolved so that is what I am trying to schedule.
That does not mean the issue is either resolved or that a solution has been provided. I will be sure to tell you when this is the case. As it goes, I don't believe that the issue is something other than the Nest thermostat, which is no more than an expensive wall decoration at the minute. Still, I can spend some more money on getting someone round just to add to the bill.
Guess how many times I had to get heating engineers around for the previous mechanical thermostat? Real advance this is.....

We're sorry for the inconvenience @TimS1.
We'll make sure to keep that in mind. Could you tell us please if the heating engineer came over? Did he leave any kind of report?

Hi @DragosC . Thank you - I have to wait for three weeks for a heating engineer with knowledge of Nest to come to an appointment so I won't have any further news before then.
Thanks

Since I haven't heard from you in a while, I'll have to close this thread. Should anything else come up, please open another thread and we'll take it from there. Have a good one and stay safe!
