Recently had a short power outage and my nest sensor stopped working. I had a notification to replace the battery, so I did. Still no luck.

I have reinstalled the app, rebooted the system completely, no luck.

Please help

Hi Christen,
Try the below steps once again and if your problem still persists please post here back, Nest community specialists will assist you.

If your thermostat was previously connected to Wi-Fi and you didn't change anything about your network, or if you're trying to troubleshoot a different Nest product, visit troubleshooting Wi-Fi and connection issues.
1. Restart your thermostat
2. Restart and check your home's internet connection
3. Reset your thermostat's network settings
4. Check the settings on your Wi-Fi router or access point
5. Check the incompatible list
6. Check for interference

Thanks

Nest/google people.  Please add some code to your devices so they will reconnect.   I have the same issue and it very difficult to physical power cycle the devices as they are at remote locations.   Please fix.

Hire me and give me access to the code and I will

thanks
