Nest is not turning on heating

For a few weeks the Nest won’t turn the heating on. Hot water is working fine. Initially when I manually turned the dial off to black and on to orange it would fire up the boiler but now that’s stopped and I can’t hear the boiler clicking on or off at all. Any ideas please?

OK in which case you have the Heat Link fitted. Just to start with, make sure you only have one green light on the Heat Link.

Have you tried this - Turn the display dial to call for heat, do you hear a click in the Heat Link? [Not the boiler, the Heat Link] When turned to not call for heat do you hear a click in the Heat Link? Basically you are turning the display dial from on to off and listening for a click in the Heat Link [Not the boiler]. you may need another pair of ears if to far away from the Heat Link to listen.
