The thermostat says the temperature in the room is 19, when it feels colder, is there a way of knowing there is a fault?

Hi mattcroft1,

Uh-oh! I'm sorry to hear that your thermostat is reading the incorrect ambient temperature. Let me take a look at this for you. A few questions:

  1. Are you located In North America or Europe?
  2. What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  3. When was the thermostat installed?
  4. Where did you install your thermostat? In a room and on a wall or stand?
  5. Do you have other active Nest Thermostats?
  6. When did the issue start?
  7. How big is the difference between the readout of the Nest Thermostat and your thermometer or other thermostats?
  8. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? If yes would you mind listing them?

Keep us posted.

Best,

Zoe
