Hello,
I want to set a temporary schedule, here are the examples -
I want the heating on one hour earlier tomorrow, then back to the usual schedule. I want to program this to happen tomorrow only and then disappear.
I want to add 1/2/3 hours of heating in the evening as a one-off extension without it permanently changing the schedule.
Thanks,
Andy

As far as I know you can only program in daily schedules in the normal way. I assume that tomorrows normal schedule is same as some other day of the week?? If so, alter tomorrow's schedule to what you want then at the end of the day copy one of the other day schedules and past into the one you changed. I don't think Nest has a diary. It would seriously complicate schedules!

No, tomorrow is a one off. Sometimes I'll have work early and that isn't regular enough to schedule weekly/daily. I guess it's just a case of changing it the day before then remembering to change it back again.
I get that adding features can complicate things it just seems to be missing some that others have, Ecobee has an "add 1/2/3 hours" feature.

Hi jonathannen,
@AndyHibbs how's it going with your Nest Thermostat? Were you able to set your desired schedule? In case you have an update, you know where to find us.
I appreciate your help, Jake and Lansdorf.

Hi,
No, I cannot set it in the way I described above. I now realise this isn't a feature suggestions forum, it's more product support and I don't need support on this issue.

Ahh! I was given to understand that the Nest was the Dog's wottsits. Clearly that is a matter for reconsideration.
