Thermostat Registered to 1st home instead of 2nd home

I registered Nest devices and they are registered to 1st home in Google Home when in the Nest App they are registered to the correct home, the 2nd. Please let me know how to move Nest devices to second home.

btw, I've already migrated my account to my Google Account.... I've factory reset the device and tried to install in the correct home in Google Home but it seems only Nest App is the only place that I can install it.

Also, I've found that this affects every Nest product that I've registered in the second home.

Hi Fueler,

Thanks for reaching out to us. If you have migrated your Nest account to your Google Account and are experiencing issues with the device registration in the Google Home app, you can try the following steps to move your Nest devices to the correct home:

  1. Make sure that both your first home (where the Nest devices are currently registered) and your second home (where you want to move the devices) are properly set up in the Google Home app.
  2. In the Google Home app, go to the first home where the Nest devices are currently registered. Locate the Nest devices that you want to move and remove them from that home. To do this, open the device settings and look for an option to "Remove" the device.
  3. Perform a factory reset on the Nest devices you want to move. Go to Settings > Reset.
  4. After the devices have been reset, you should be able to set them up in the desired second home using the Google Home app. Follow the usual setup process for each device, ensuring that you select the correct home during the setup process.

Let us know if that helps.

Best,

Zoe
