new radiators

I recently had some new radiators put in on a system that is already controlled by my nest thermostat. I’m disabled and i have the thermostat in my room upstairs. It has only recently been brought to my attention that the downstairs is not heating to the same temperature. I don’t know if the radiators on the pre nest system had a thermostat downstairs but they don’t now.. I don’t know whether to call the heating engineer or if i need a second thermostat to work in conjunction with mine.
