So I’m attempting to upgrade my Google Wifi to Nest Pro Wifi and I’m having the worst time attempting setup. I’ve spent as much time reading through forum posts as I have actually tried to get the thing set up. I’ve tried all posts suggestions to each error below with no success.
I’ve gotten the Bluetooth error, connect Ethernet cable error, connection failed try again later error. I’ll try the setup process 5 times and get one of these 3 errors every time. No rhyme or reason to which error I’ll get. I’ve returned my first system and got a 2nd hardware box with no change in results, so I don’t think it’s a hardware issue. I have an Open NAT set up with Google WiFi and no issues when I set up Google WiFi. I’ve called support and they had me uninstall and reinstall the home app also they’ve had me try the set up process on multiple devices both iOS and Android and multiple new and existing homes. All to no success. At this point do I call it quits and go with another mesh system (open to suggestions) or just stick with my Google WiFi which has performed wonderfully for years?
