Nest WiFi pro pairing with Orbit B-hyve

I just had nest WiFi pro installed and I am having difficulty pairing it to my 2.5ghz devices. I put my B-hyve into pairing mode while connected to the b-hyve WiFi as instructed, but it is then unable to locate my home network despite a strong signal. It eventually errors out. Is there a workaround?

The best way to fix this issue is to create a guest network and checkbox anything you want that device to be anle to connect to.

could you be more specific please? Are you saying to create a second SSID for guests to use and then pair it to that one? How is that going to be any different in getting the device to recognize my WiFi to connect to it? Right now my b-hyve won’t even pull up a list of my existing SSID so I am confused at how adding a second guest network will help this.
