Hello Lucyf2,

Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help.

A few questions: was this working before? If yes, when did the issue start? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Some modems require activation from their manufacturer to work with other routers, so please verify this with TP-Link first.

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,
Lovely

Hi Lucyf2,

I want to check if you were able to reach out to TP-Link. If you did and you're still having issues, let me know so I can further help.

Sincerely,
Lovely

There's nothing TP-Link or dodo will do because TP-Link said they don't support bridging mode for the modem router that they gave me with the plan and dodo said they can't do anything because they don't have access to the configurations settings then proceed to say they won't tell me recommendations for which modem I should purchase in replacement that will support my nbn with them because there's nothing wrong with the current equipment provided and only told me they recommend not using a mesh wifi

Hey Lucyf2,

Sorry to hear about this. If you have an unmanaged switch available, you can try using it to connect your Google Nest Wifi router to your TP-Link modem and see if you'll be able to get it setup that way. All you need to do is connect an Ethernet cable to the modem and switch from the switch to the router.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,
Lovely

Hello there,

You can purchase an unmanaged switch from third-party manufacturers and use it for your network configuration. Let me know if this helps.
