Reset WiFi to factory settings - How to delete old WiFi name?

We did a reset to factory settings with the entire nest system. When we renamed the “new” wifi, we called it the same name as the original nest wifi with the same password. We have a few devices that won’t connect now because the wifi is named the same thing but doesn’t work. How can I delete the extra double wifi name?

If you can, go into the Wi-Fi settings on those devices and "forget" the network, then re-join it. If you cannot do that, try turning the device off and on again (completely disconnect it from power). If that doesn't work, you'll need to reset it and set it up again.

We have a few electronic devices that attach to the network but are actually not that "smart".  I cannot choose a network. I have to manually enter it so I can't forget a network.

I'd recommend checking the manufacturer's documentation for those devices to see if there's a way to reset the Wi-Fi settings. If not, you'll need to reset those devices and set them up again.
