Nest Yale Lock and Home Entry Only Codes Won't Work

I've been unable to get any of my guest access codes working.  I replaced the locks with brand-new locks, and I'm experiencing the same issue.  When I add a guest, the auto-generated code doesn't work.  If I change the code to a custom code, it also won't work.  Only my Home Member codes work.  I've factory reset my locks and the connects multiple times to no avail.  This seems to be an issue with the connect sending the codes to be stored in the locks.  Is this a known issue, or is there a solution to this?

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the Nest X Yale Lock. I’d be happy to help you with this.

 

A few questions: does it happen on both Wi-Fi and mobile data? Have you tried using another mobile device to create new guest passcodes?
 

Let's try these troubleshooting steps below:
 

  1. Check for any iOS updates and install them if there are any.
  2. Remove the guest from the home structure.
  3. Uninstall the Nest app, restart your phone, and then reinstall the app.
  4. Add the guest back to your Nest home. Then the Nest app will automatically generate a passcode for them. You can also create your own passcode for them.
