Nest x Yale Lock - how to get a free Nest Connect from Google in the UK

I keep getting emails and notifications in the Nest app about support ending for Nest Secure.  This means I will need a Nest Connect to bridge my lock to my Wifi.   The emails Google send have a link to redeem a free Nest Connect, but, as I am in the UK, the link takes me to the UK store where the Nest Connect isn't available.

Google tell me I can order one on the US store but it has to be be shipped to a US address.  I am in London, England. I still tried to do that, but the link redirects me to the UK store.

I logged a support ticket with Google but got passed from region to region and nobody was able to offer anything other than asking someone in the US to order it for me and then post it to me.  That's crazy, and expensive.  

Can anyone advise on how I can keep my Nest x Yale Lock working on Wifi beyond 8th April?  Can you even buy a Connect in the UK?

Thanks for posting. I apologize for all the inconvenience this has caused.

Unfortunately, the Nest Yale Lock and Nest Connect are not available in the UK, and we don't have any news to share about future availability. This is why you cannot order the Nest Connect through the link in the Google Store. If you try to order the Nest Connect with a US address, we cannot ship the device to the UK.

I have 2 Yale locks and a nest secure. I did not receive the email for a free nest connect to keep my locks connected. What do I do if I did not receive the email but I am eligible for the free nest connect?

I'm in the same boat as you.  I know it's changing tomorrow.  I called on Wednesday and still haven't heard back.  So annoying.

Same. Today my lock and best guard got offline. I don’t know what to do. I just search my inbox in case I missed the email, and there’s nothing

I've been through that form already.  I got passed from pillar to post again and again.  The end result was that because I'm in the UK, Google can't do anything to help.  My lock and next guard went offline on Monday 8th April as planned.  I have no online control of the (very expensive) lock that I bought and no way to get it back online.  Users in the UK should be offered the same solution as those in the US.  Why isn't that happening?
